This Circle meets, usually on the first Monday of the month
(except during the Summer holidays), at 7:30 pm in the hall
of St Benedict’s Catholic Church, 10 Hall Road, Handforth,
SK9 3AD.

The next meeting is on 1st June. It is entitled
“Newman and Oxford: the Making of a Saint” and the speaker
will be Peter Nockles Academic, author of The Oxford Movement
in Context.
On February 2nd, Deacon Alan Morris gave a talk on “Mary: Icon of
Christian Discipleship”. He has kindly given us a transcript
